History shows that humans began to settle
ten or twelve thousand years ago. Then some chiefs started attacking other
settlements to increase their income. Later Cyrus the Great, Ashoka the Great,
Alexander the Great, etc. established their vast empires.
The Muslims defeated the monarchs of Iran,
Syria and Nazareth and established Islamic governments. However, the purpose of
the Muslims was not to expand the territory of the government and increase
their income, but they wanted to spread the message of Allah Almighty among the
people and save them from the exploitative forces.
When the Muslim rulers fell into luxury,
the Western powers emerged who occupied a large part of the Islamic world.
These Western powers plundered the natural resources of the Islamic
countries and became Amir Kabir. Britain, for example, plundered India's
resources and became rich. Similarly, the Netherlands, France, Spain, Russia,
Portugal, Belgium, Italy, etc. plundered the Islamic lands from Indonesia to
Algeria and Morocco and became "advanced" with this wealth.
By the 19th century, however, there was a
clash between the Western colonial powers. The main reason was that every power
wanted to subjugate as many colonies as possible. Obviously, the more countries
under a Western power, the more their income would have increased. In the 19th
century, Britain became the largest colonial power.
Britain's power was challenged by Germany,
which was opposed to the British with racial, linguistic, and cultural
confidence. As a result, World Wars I and II emerged. The devastation of these
two wars brought down the sun of the British Empire and forced other Western
powers to grant independence to almost all Islamic countries.
After World War II, two new world powers
emerged, the United States and the Soviet Union. These two warring forces
remained in the competition since 1990 years. During this time he tried to get as many countries as
possible to join him. In this regard, the American rulers provided financial assistance
and included many Islamic countries in their camp, including Pakistan.
The
appearance of America
Gradually, the United States became a
colonial power and began to dream of world domination. With the dissolution of
the Soviet Union in 1991, he saw his dream come true. But an Islamic organization, al-Qaeda,
became an obstacle to America's unipolar power. As US rulers battled al Qaeda,
a new power in the East, China, emerged. China managed to become an economic
and military power by avoiding wars as much as possible.
By the second decade of the 21st century,
the United States had weakened al Qaeda, but the long war had also weakened it
economically. Meanwhile, China became economically and militarily strong and
began to spread its wings around the world. In 2015, Chinese President
Xi Jinping laid the groundwork for the "One Belt One Road" project.
It is the largest economic development project in human history in terms of
size and value.
China wants to build highways, roads,
bridges, and various buildings in more than 60 countries through the above
project. Thus the new infrastructure in these countries is intended to stand.
The entire project will cost between 12 billion and 15 billion.
China claims that it has no colonial
ambitions, but wants to bring the fruits of economic development to all
countries through the Belt and Road projects. But the United States has become
hostile to this great Chinese project. He fears that with the help of the
project, China will gain influence in the world while its global power will be
limited. The American ruling class is licked to rule the world, so it is not
ready to give up its global role and has become an enemy of China.
What
are conflicts?
The problem with the American ruling class
is that it is no longer the time for open wars as in the past because all
countries have bilateral trade and economic relations. Take the example of
China and the United States. The United States is a major trading partner of
China. China sends about
500 billion worth of goods to the United States each
year. While 130 billion goods go to China from the United States. It is as if the
The United States is facing an annual trade deficit of billion with China.
This is a huge trade deficit. Estimate its
extent, Pakistan's total exports are 21 billion dollars. The same trade deficit
has become another source of contention between the United States and China
since the Belt and Road project. Trump promised Americans in his "First
America" election campaign that he would tax Chinese goods as soon as he
became ruler. So now it has launched a trade war against China, which has
engulfed other important countries of the world. Trump wants to reduce his
trade deficit to 800 billion by
imposing taxes on imported goods.
The third major dispute between the United
States and China is over control of the Pacific, Indian Ocean and South China
Sea. Most of the world's trade today is by ship. That is why every major power
wants to control the seas. China claims oil and gas and owns much of the South
China Sea. But Taiwan in particular does not accept this claim. The United
States are supporting Taiwan in this regard. Therefore, this issue has also
become a matter of controversy.
Iran has also become a major source of
contention between China and the United States. China is the largest buyer of
Iranian oil. Trump is now pressuring China not to buy oil from Iran, but the
Chinese government has refused to comply. China has even offered Iran more oil
if it is affected by US sanctions.
The growing proximity of China and Russia
is also hurting the United States. Russia and the United States are at odds
with each other over several issues. In such a situation, the Trump
administration does not like the friendship between China and Russia.
Earlier, it was reported that due to
economic and trade relations, the world powers no longer openly act against
each other, hence the era of covert and secret wars has begun. Now the world
powers are trying to harm the enemy through hidden conspiracies and measures. For
example, Israeli and American IT experts created a dangerous Stuxnet computer
virus that destroyed several uranium enrichment machines in Iran.
The grouping process is also ongoing. For
example, the United States is pitting India against China to create
problems for this emerging world power. India and China are at war over border
disputes. However, heavy trade now prevents them from fighting openly. But the
various military actions of the two countries show that they have lined up
against each other. Military experts from both countries believe that there
could be a war between China and India in the future.
China is building ports in the Indian Ocean
in Sri Lanka, Maldives, Pakistan, Djibouti, and Somalia. India considers the
Indian Ocean as its property, so it is deeply concerned about China's actions.
Apart from border disputes, India also has objections to the fact that
development projects are underway in Azad Kashmir in connection with C-Pack, a
major sub-project of Belt and Road. The Indian ruling class considers Azad
Kashmir an integral part of a "united India".
Moreover, like the United States, India
also faces huge trade deficits with China. China exports Û±Û° 1.8 billion worth of
goods to India India's exports to China are only 68.10 billion. It is estimated that India is
facing a deficit of about 16.3 billion. This
deficit is also gradually causing controversies becoming
Both India and China are now busy
strengthening their navies. China is rapidly developing aircraft carriers.
Building submarines and naval warships. The goal is for China to compete with
the US Navy in the Pacific and the Indian Navy in the Indian Ocean. The Modi
government has not remained silent. It has recently obtained permission from
Indonesia to use the port of Sabang.
The port of Sabang is located on the Strait
of Malacca. It is the main route connecting the Pacific Ocean and the Indian
Ocean. One hundred thousand ships pass through this strait every year. Most of
China's maritime trade is conducted through this route. Therefore, China fears
that in the future, the US and Indian navies may try to stifle the Chinese
economy with the blockade of the Strait of Malacca. This is the concept where
Pakistan enters the new Great Game between the world powers.
Pakistan's
geographical importance
The port of Pakistan, Gwadar is located at
an important geographical location. Central Asian countries on one side and the
Middle East on the other. Due to the geographical importance of Gwadar, China
developed it as a port and took over its management. With the closure of the
Strait of Malacca, China can easily continue its international trade through
this route.
The United States had warned its ally,
Pakistan, not to join the C-Pack project, but the Pakistani military refused to
take American "dictation". Since then, the United States has greatly
reduced its military aid to Pakistan. It also recently banned the training of
Pakistani military officers in US military training institutions. In a sense,
US-Pakistan military cooperation is almost over.
Now the US-India military cooperation is in
full swing. In the last nine years, India has bought ؍
2 billion worth of arms from the United
States. The United States has included India in QUAD and STA-1. These are the
two most prominent military and economic alliances of the United States and its
allies. The quad includes the United States, Japan, and Australia, while STA-1
includes two Asian countries, Japan and South Korea. Besides, US forces
changed the name of their "US Pacific Command" to "US
Indo." Pacific Command ". In this way, the US forces made it clear to
the world that India has become a regional superpower.
Increasing proximity to Russia
India's
inclination towards India is beneficial for Pakistan. Therefore, it is clear
from history that the American ruling class is a slave to its own interests. He
never helps Pakistan when needed. Pakistan is now leaning towards its natural
allies, China and Russia. Pakistan has long-standing ties with China, and
growing ties with Russia are a welcome change.
In fact,
the growing friendship between the United States and India has made Russia hate
it. India is now buying most of its weapons from the United States and European
countries. Seeing this, Russia thinks that it is also free to sell arms to
Pakistan. Russia has recently agreed to train Pakistani military officers in
Russian military training institutions. This is a big change. Pakistan can also
buy tanks and state-of-the-art fighter jets from Russia.
It is clear
from the above facts that two major warring factions have formed in the world.
One side is America and its followers. On the other hand, China, Russia, and
their followers. Pakistan has also become part of this group, but it cannot
completely sever ties with the United States. The reason is that the United
States buys the most Pakistani goods. Therefore, only after finding a new
trading partner will Pakistan be in a position to respond to American divisions
like Turkey.
Meanwhile,
India is engaged in covert operations against Pakistan. The Modi government had
tried to reduce the importance of Gwadar port to zero by uniting Iran and
Afghanistan but it failed. Therefore, the Indian government is now trying to
encourage elements to fight the state of Pakistan. Due to this, major incidents
of terrorism may arise in Pakistan in the future. Their aim is to harm the only
nuclear power in the Islamic world economically, socially, and politically.
It is clear
from the facts that the US and China and Russia are not openly attacking each
other because of mutual economic interests. But if Trump continues to hold the
US presidency for another five or six years, he could spark with his mercurial
personality that could ignite the terrible fires of World War III. Remember,
the First and Second World Wars also seemed to erupt from the womb of ordinary
events. This time too, a normal event could lead to a third world war. Donald
Trump believes in the philosophy of "whose stick is his buffalo". He
is imposing his will on all countries at the expense of American military time.
Conflict escalates in such a hostile environment. The confrontation finally
wears off.
Now it
remains to be seen what path the new government of Pakistan will take in this
very sensitive and troubled international situation. It is certain that Imran
Khan's government will have to be very prudent and prudent. Its first priority
should be to strengthen the national economy. An economically strong Pakistan
will be able to meet the unjustified dangerous challenges to security and
survival.
